Let’s talk Holiday entertaining! There are a few things that I *always* bring out when we’re entertaining. Regardless of what Holiday or Season, they look great year after year and bring charm and style to whatever table you’re decorating. Here’s the thing…I don’t believe you need to invest in new flatware or dishes each year. In fact, I think the total opposite. Invest in chic, timeless items that you’ll reach for over and over again.
I was inspired to share this post because I shared these rattan chargers in the LTK app prior to Thanksgiving and they continue to be a top seller each week. I’ve had them for years and they inevitably make it onto every Holiday table I create because they look great and add a natural, textural element to your table.
One thing I did invest in 2 years ago was this under $30 gold flatware set and I’m so glad I did! The set was not expensive (especially considering the cost per use) and is dishwasher safe (gone are my days of polishing Grandma’s silver all morning and then hand washing it at night–at least for this Season of life). I love to stick with neutrals with dishes and then spruce up my decor around it. I love to add a real garland centerpiece during the Holidays and of course, lots of candles.
