Hello friends! I hope you’re having a great week so far! We are enjoying some gorgeous weather here in San Diego and I’m so grateful to be able to enjoy the outdoors this time of year! Recently, Aveeno reached out and asked to partner together on some new products in their lineup. If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I used this Aveeno moisturizer (recommended by my Derm when I was 15) for over a DECADE (wow) so I was honored to try out their products knowing how effective, affordable and trusted they are. I’ve always purchased my cleanser at the drugstore so I was so excited to put their Calm and Restore Face Wash to the test several weeks ago. You can find all of the products I’m sharing today at your local Target (Lord knows I needed another reason to peruse their skincare/makeup aisles, lol). Target seems to be my go-to for all the things lately and I know I’m not alone here, right?!
So here’s the scoop with the Aveeno Calm and Restore collection…it really does just that. Each of the products soothes the skin with prebiotic oat (a known prebiotic that is critical for nourishing the moisture barrier of the skin). I began incorporating the Calm and Restore face wash at night ( I do a quick rinse in the morning) and I love how it washes away my makeup without leaving it feeling dry and stripped of moisture. I’ve also been incorporating the Calm and Restore moisturizer on mornings when I feel like I need an extra boost of hydration prior to my sunscreen.
