Top (xs)/ Jeans (26)/ Boots (tts)/ Handbag/ Hat
Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a great weekend! We got some things done around the house, watched movies and played with the kids. Both of my kids are obsessed with The Nightmare Before Christmas movie right now so I’ve been playing Sally all weekend long, lol. We grilled out on Saturday and in an effort to bring some light heartedness to 2020, Austin and I have been watching a bunch of comedy specials on Netflix! We watched a few episodes of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, the Jerry Seinfeld episode of My Next Guest Needs no Introduction and the Dave Chapelle special. I swear, we are still laughing about some of the scenes we watched. HIGHLY recommend making your TV choices real light hearted these days, lol.
Today I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share two outfits styled with a pair of jeans that I discovered and just love. I had been wanting a pair of jeans that were more of a charcoal color but you know me with jeans…they need to check a LOT of boxes before I purchase. These checked all of those boxes! They have plenty of stretch (a MUST) and have just the right amount of distressing. What I really love about these jeans, is that the style and fit through the legs and ankles make them perfect for styling with ankle boots or booties. They tuck into boots with zero bunching which is sometimes hard to find!
I styled the jeans as a casual daytime outfit and then a dressier date night or girls night option. Each piece I styled are from the many exclusive brands that Nordstrom offers at their store. As a loyal Nordstrom shopper for years and years, I can truly speak to the quality and design savvy of their exclusive brands and often find myself gravitating toward them because I know I’ll consistently get great quality at an amazing price points (like with this ribbed turtleneck!). If you need the perfect cozy sweatshirt for this Holiday Season, snag this oatmeal colored one asap! It is SO GOOD and would be darling with leggings too! I love it paired with this pom pom hat (would make a great gift!) and combat boots for a casual and on trend outfit that won’t break the bank.
For a dressier option, monochromatic is always the way to go in my book. I paired my favorite ankle boots with this ribbed turtleneck to create a chic look that is perfect for evening. Throw a jacket or vest on over it to add a layer of warmth as this turtleneck is a great base layer. Add a neutral knotted headband and you’re good to go! I’ve linked outfit details below as well as some of my favorites from brands exclusive to Nordstrom below. Have a great week and as always, thank you so much for following along! xx
