Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a great weekend! It was so gorgeous in San Diego and we enjoyed lots of time outdoors. Seldom are the September mornings where we can open up all of the windows and light our pumpkin candle and I was able to do that both Saturday and Sunday which was glorious. It’s supposed to heat up again this week so it was nice to take advantage of the mild temps!
Today I wanted to talk about Walmart Fashion with you. You guys know, I’ve peppered some Walmart pieces into my wardrobe over the last year and a half and I gotta say…I’m such a fan. I remember back in that day (like 15 years ago), when a Target opened up near the Chicago neighborhood I lived in. My roommates and I were SO excited and drove there the weekend it opened to check it out and it really felt like Christmas morning. In full transparency, I was skeptical to buy clothes there initially! Fast forward a few years and I was constantly supplementing my work and casual outfits with great finds from Targay. I still am today (hello best tank ever)! Trust when I say that I am on the SAME path with Walmart. Skeptical and curious to full blown fan.
I have not only found some amazing wardrobe basics (like this scoop neck bodysuit) but I can also score some fabulous trend items (like these wide leg jeans or this snakeskin dress) that I would otherwise spend a LOT more money on at other retailers. I have been very impressed with not just the price, but the quality as well. I was scoping out some of their new arrivals online and was truly wowed by some of the things I saw! I ordered this camel blazer (which I also have in black) and this knit cardigan yesterday and am so excited to share them with you when they arrive! I’m also SUCH a fan of this peplum sweater and think it would be perfect for the Holidays! Also? Let’s face it…it’s kind of nice to be able to grab a darling puff sleeve sweater in the same cart as cookies for my kids!
