Happy Monday! I hope you guys had a wonderful weekend and if you celebrate Easter, I hope it was a special day! We spent the weekend doing a LOT of projects. Austin is getting our yard in such great shape- I’m so impressed with seeing his landscape vision come to life! Who knew he had it in him?! We are super motivated on the weekends to tackle some home projects that we’ve wanted to do since we’ve moved in (over 2 years ago, lol). The truth is, those projects always took a back seat to other things we wanted to do together or other obligations we had on the weekends. But now that we have a little more time (and no plans), we’re checking some things off our list!
This weekend we cleaned out our guest room and removed some valences in our kitchen that were there when we moved in. We struggle in the natural light department downstairs which really irritates me but removing these definitely helped brighten things up! We ordered a new light fixture for our powder room and have narrowed down a few new faucet options (shared those in Friday’s Chit Chat post). Next up? New cabinet hardware and light fixtures for our master. It feels so good to accomplish things during this crazy time, am I right?!
