A Cozy Sweatshirt to Add to Your Closet

Happy Monday!  How was your weekend?! We tackled a lot of home improvements as you saw on my Insta Stories! I’m in a major Spring cleaning/ organization mode…it seems like it will take me months to get it all done but I plan on completing everything and sharing my journey with you as I do! I remember enjoying organizing as a little girl.  Lining up my toys, stacking my books according to size and cleaning out my desk drawers gave me a lot of joy…and that has carried into my adult life.  Super cool, right? But let me tell you- it is REALLY challenging to organize with kids.  It can seem like you address one mess/pile and then in the meantime, another one is happening behind you! One step forward and 10 back, lol. I will stay the course though!

I’m excited for a fresh and busy week ahead and fully plan on hitting the ground running in my new sweatshirt that I scored from Walmart!  It’s an acid wash style which is on trend and I love how the grey/white color combo goes with almost everything in my closet.  You guys know that lately I’ve scored some amazing finds at Walmart.  Just about everything I’ve shared with you all has come from their line with Scoop and this hooded sweatshirt is no different!  Walmart fashion has really impressed me over the last 6 months.  Not only with their prices, but with the quality too.  I’m always looking for the perfect compliment to black leggings and this sweatshirt is just that!  Here are a few fun ideas I have for styling this gem:

  • With leggings and sneakers as seen here- also could layer a puffer vest over it! The ultimate comfy athleisure outfit.
  • “Dressed up” with black jeans, booties and a moto jacket for date night or drinks with the girls.
  • Dressed down in the Spring with denim cutoffs and sandals.
  • Casual with black jeans and a denim jacket for errands or brunch!

I’m wearing a size xs although feel like a size small would have been great too! PS- this comes as a lounge wear set if you want to go that route!
