When we moved into our new home a year and a half ago, we found ourselves desperate to put something we could sit on in our outdoor space. It’s a great space because it’s covered and shaded from the sun but feels like an extension of the inside of our home. We purchased something quick, easy and inexpensive that started to fall apart within an year. Ugh. We didn’t love it though and to be honest, it was REAL cheap so I was fine passing it on WHEN and if we found what we loved. So we casually looked and got frustrated by how expensive outdoor furniture is. Why is everything for the outdoors SO MUCH MONEY?!
My frustration grew until I found myself searching World Market and found THE set for our space! It looks very high end (a sales associate at the store told me many designers use this set for their clients because it is similar to Serena and Lilly sets but without the high price tag) and is all weather wicker. We loved the neutral color and the look and feel is similar to the decor inside of our home. Imagine my excitement when the entire set was HALF OFF! It seemed like the deal of the century so we went for it and are SO HAPPY WE DID. A few weeks after our furniture purchase, we found this rug which completed the space.
My plan is to add a few decorative items like this candle, this lantern and this outdoor blanket to complete the space but overall, we’re so happy with how everything turned out. I found the white garden stools at a consignment shop by my house but linked several similar ones from Wayfair below for you! And in case you didn’t know, Wayfair has an awesome new section of their site called hashtag home where everything is $400 or less! I definitely found myself sifting through some of the cute furniture! We’ve had our set for about a month now and love how comfortable and beautiful it is. The couch is perfect for lounging on sunny afternoons and the set allows plenty of room for a group to gather over wine and cheese! Bring on SUMMER and outdoor living! Will you be shopping for outdoor furniture this Summer? As always, thank you so much for following along. xo
