We’re heading someplace warm and sunny soon and I CANNOT wait! We took a few trips last Summer: Chicago, Palm Springs and Ojai. All were amazing but we did long weekends because Griffin was so young. This time we’re really going for it and I’m so ready to decompress and unwind with family for an entire week! I’m one of those weirdos that LOVES packing for vacation…I love getting everything laid out and organized for my kids and I. To me it’s as relaxing as cleaning which I also thoroughly enjoy, lol. In general, I love the vibe of vacation clothes. More color, less fabric and overall very relaxed. Typically my outfits are pretty neutral but I like to change it up on vacations with fun jewelry, easy maxi dresses and outfits that can swiftly go from the beach to cocktail hour to dinner. Here’s a peek at whats on my packing list for this trip in case you need some inspo for your own vacations! I’d love to know where you’re headed and as always, thank you so much for following along!
Denim Cutoffs/ Sunglasses/ Straw Hat/ Day to Night Jumpsuit/ Bathing Suit/ Cover Up/ Flip Flops/ Tote Bag/ Sarong/ Statement Jewelry
- Straw Hat– I cannot speak highly enough about this hat! Coverage and style all in one- not to mention a great price!
- Denim Cutoffs– These were purchased on sale a few months back after I saw EVERYONE raving about them! And they are worth it guys, I promise. So cute on and I found it difficult to buy just one wash- loved the darker color too.
- Sunglasses– Can a girl have too many? Me thinks not. Currently favorites are these (under $70), these ($55) and these ($15)!
- Coverup– I found one exactly like this at a shop in Marco Island years ago and still wear it today! So cute to throw on over your bathing suit.
- Day to Night Jumpsuit– Vacation is the perfect time to wear things that can seamlessly transition from pool to sunsets on the beach and dinner.
- Bathing Suit– Obsessed with the ruffles on this bikini top!
- Flip Flops– Hands down, the best neutral flip flops you’ll ever own! The nude color goes with everything, too. I purchased my first pair in Hawaii 6 years ago and have since bought two more pairs.
- Sarong– Having a sarong at the pool and beach is a must for me…I just feel very exposed walking around in a bathing suit sometimes and these make me feel pulled together but also a bit more covered up! The short version is amazing too!
- Statement Jewelry– Sign me up for this beachy, shell trend. So perfect for Summer and vacations! This one is $9 and so cute!
- Beachy Tote Bag– This bag works for the beach/pool and for dinner out! Plus it comes in at under $30.
