Winter White and a Wardrobe Essential

How was your weekend?  My gosh, we’ve been on a never ending reel of illnesses over here.  I’m really hoping this week we can FINALLY all be on the mend!  We got our tree up this weekend although it isn’t decorated quite yet.  Surprisingly enough, Griffin is not that interested in it.  I’m sure that will change as soon as the ornaments are up- Coco and I are on the hunt for some soft slash non- breakable ornaments to complete the tree and that the whole family can enjoy.  I never really had to make adjustments in our home for Coco but man, we’ve really had to make some changes to keep little Griffin safe! I was sent this beautiful 6.5 foot flocked tree last year from King of Christmas and just love the way it looks in our home- btw, it’s on sale right now!  This is our first Christmas in the new house and I’m so excited to decorate!

Speaking of Winter and the Holidays, I’ve never been one to shy away from wearing white or ivory in the Fall and Winter Season. In fact, I think a monochromatic white outfit can be incredibly chic this time of year.  Pair a chunky ivory knit sweater with some beautiful wide leg pants and you’ve got yourself a show stopping festive outfit. I actually got this white blazer over the Summer but it was way too hot to wear it…I can finally break it out now that it’s cooled off (the high 70’s!). It looks WAY more expensive than it is- in fact, it could easily be mistaken for a very high end designer blazer.  It runs true to size and the possibilities are endless with how this could be styled. I was so smitten with it (and the price!), that I also snagged it in black (and was tempted by the navy).  The gold buttons give it a classic edge and the fit is beyond flattering.  Not only is it perfect for the office, but it’s also ideal for date night and can be worn year round (as you can see here).  This is one of those items, I like to call a wardrobe essential.  It will be in your closet, solving your “what do I wear” problems for years to come!  Let me know what you think and as always, thank you so much for following along! xo
