Hi Guys! How was your weekend? We’re playing catch up from basically taking last week off from all things. My best friend was in town visiting with her family and we had so much fun and enjoyed San Diego to the fullest. We hit up the Flower Fields which I HIGHLY recommend if you’re in the area. It is so gorgeous and in full bloom right now. We also did the Wild Animal park and Arielle and I even got to sneak away for a spa day at my favorite spot, the Rancho Valencia. I’ve been to two spa’s in my life that were next level, and this is certainly one of them (the other was the Kohler Water Spa in case you’re wondering). In other news, I’m a little past due with posting Griffin’s 6 month update so we’ll call this a 6 slash 7 month update, ok?

For starters, he’s still as sweet as can be. Honestly, he’s the type of baby that makes you want 3-5 more babies. He’s fully sitting up but not yet crawling, although he will get up on all fours! If you can believe it, we still have zero teeth. Coco didn’t cut her first tooth until 8 months so I feel like it’s right around the corner. We’re at that phase where if he’s unusually fussy, we think it must be his teeth. It seems like all day long, I’m washing his teethers since they constantly fall on the floor. Our current favorites are these and these because they’re so easy for him to hold. My Mom also got him this one for Easter which he loves! He’s still sleeping in the Snoo but we’re going to start to transition him into his crib next week…I wish I could keep him in our room for a year but he’s starting to outgrow the Snoo so here we are. Sleep has been a challenge lately as he’s been getting up on average 2-3 times each night. We’re hoping it’s just a phase and that he’ll fall back into his routine soon! Our other challenge recently has been bathing him! He’s really squirmy and loves to sit up and play so we got him this bath seat which has been a game changer for our backs at bath time. Speaking of baths, he still has crazy cradle cap so this shampoo has helped!
I wish I could talk about all of the cute clothes he’s wearing now but the truth is, I mostly keep my babies in jammies. We’re home all the time, he naps 2-3 times a day so it just makes more sense. Not to mention I just always want them to be comfy! As you guys know, I can’t quit these jammies. Coco and Griffin sleep in them every night and Griffin pretty much wears them daily. I’m still nursing (swear by this pillow) but we did introduce solids at 6 months! He loves pears, sweet potato and carrots. One big purchase we made this month was a double stroller. I wanted a side by side and my neighbor was selling hers at a great price so we decided to get it! I love how easy it is to maneuver and with one pull, it’s up or collapsed. In terms of playtime, Griffin LOVES to rotate between this activity saucer and this jumpy. We saved both from when Coco was a baby and he couldn’t be happier playing in them! I HIGHLY suggest one or both! He also loves to sit and play with books- this is his current favorite. Can time slow down? Geez, why is everything going so fast with this one? Have a great Monday and as always, thank you so much for following along! xo
