Hi Everyone!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I’ve been put on ‘modified activity’ (so no lifting, no working out, lots of rest with feet up…you get the idea) for some issues I’ve been having with my pregnancy.  More on that later BUT it was great to get out and about over the weekend since I’ve really been trying to stay off my feet as much as possible.  In other words, I’ve become even more of a hermit if that was even possible.

Don’t worry, I’ve found PLENTY of ways to keep myself occupied while resting!  We’re getting our home painted in two weeks and I dove head first into design books and blogs over the weekend in order to find the perfect white paint.  Who knew Benjamin Moore had 150 shades of white? Not this girl.  We’ve gone back and fourth on if we should move into a larger home over the last few months and have recently decided to stay put for a while. Why on earth I ever thought selling a home, packing and moving while pregnant (now on modified activity) in the heat of the Summer was a good idea is beyond me.  I blame the pregnancy hormones.  So, we’ve decided to do a few updates to our home that I’m really excited about- hence my obsession with white paint. PS- you can check out my paint and home decor inspo via Pinterest here!

Now that I’m over the half way point in my pregnancy and the temps are rising, I’m on the hunt for easy, comfy dresses that will keep me and my bump happy throughout the day.  If you’ve been following along for a while, you KNOW I can’t resist a great shift dress.  This dress fits the bill. It feels like linen, is under $50 and comes in blue and a really pretty blush color.  It’s not maternity but for you preggers out there, it fits a growing bump really well! I love the combo of blue and brown so I paired it with these ankle tie heels (so comfy btw) and my favorite leopard clutch.   This dress would be so cute with a little espadrille or gladiator sandal if you’re not feeling the heels though! I’ll leave you with my favorite Monday quote:  “I hope your Monday is short and your coffee is strong.” Or something like that.  As always, thanks so much for following along! xo
