Happy Friday, friends! First of all, I just realized that FINALLY someone (not just someone but the adorable fellow San Diego Blogger, The Stylish Housewife) was inspired to make their own 101 in 1001 list after my post a few weeks back. Eureka! I can finally cross ‘Inspire Someone Else to Make this List’ off my own list. This made my day and yes, I went through and read every single one of her goals and was so inspired by them. I’ve found that I really enjoy reading what other people are motivated by.
I almost did a Friday Favorites post today since I haven’t done one in a while but I was too excited to share this outfit. Not to mention the fact that it pretty much incorporates all of my favorite things: pink cozy oversized sweater and fun statement earrings!
These earrings were on my Christmas list and and my in-laws surprised me with them! They picked out the color combination and I just love them so much. In case you missed it, these are THE statement earrings to have at the moment. They’re an amazing dupe for a much more expensive pair and come in a bunch of fun colors- all of which I’m temped to buy. Statement earrings can be hard for me because they’re usually so heavy and by the end of dinner, I’m taking them off and throwing them in my purse because my ears are in so much pain. Not these! You’ll be happy to know that these are super light weight. I’ve lasted hours in them and barely noticed they’re there which is a huge win. Speaking of dupes…these velvet shoes are pretty much the best I’ve found for the coveted Gucci’s, am I right?!
I snagged this sweater when I was exchanging something at Nordstrom a few weeks ago and love how big and cozy it is (not to mention the pink color is perfect for Valentines Day). On a side note, for date night, I would totally rock this exact look with my otk boots. PS- I felt so short shooting in these flat shoes (although I’m obsessed with them and wear them all the time)! Haha, I just usually wear heels for my photo shoots.
What are you guys up to this weekend? We have a much needed date night planned tomorrow night! Since the New Year, Austin has been really busy with work and we’ve had weeks of rain which has made me want to stay in with a fire and a movie instead of heading out. I’ve turned into such a weather wimp since living in Southern California. We truly are so spoiled with our sunshine! Have a great weekend and as always, thank you so much for following along. xo
