This week I’ll be sharing three totally different Holiday looks on the blog! It’s always challenging to find outfits to wear to festive events and Holidays but fear not, I’ve got you covered regardless of the type of event or Holiday you’ll be dressing for. Speaking of parties, this past week we were in full on party circuit mode. It was exhausting but so much fun! I turn into such a Grandma at night in that I’m usually showered and in bed reading by 9PM so I’m pretty proud to admit that I haven’t gone to bed before 1AM since Wednesday night. I’m also really really tired right now so please excuse any typos and the rambling nature of this post. Having said that, I was SO excited to share this navy lace dress with you guys because it has to be up there in one of my all time favorite things that I own in my closet.
…hmm that would actually be a really cute blog post, right? Closet favorites? Made a mental note.
Anyway, it’s right up there on the pedestal with my wedding shoes, these black OTK boots and these jeans. I found it online at Bloomingdales when I was creating this Holiday Dress post about a month ago and KNEW I needed it in my life. Navy is one of those colors that can be worn year round and the shape of the skirt with the lace detailing made me absolutely swoon. Since I’m feeling less then tan these days (btw, I did self tanner before this photo was taken which is even sadder), the high neck and sleeves made me feel covered up which was nice. Investing in dresses is tricky because you don’t want to spend a small fortune on a dress you’re only going to wear once. The thing I love about this color and style is that it can be worn to a ton of different events: Holiday parties, NYE, showers, cocktail parties and it could easily be your go-to dress for Weddings. What I’m trying to say is that this could be your new LBD (little black dress) aka the dress you can rely on when you feel like you have nothing else to wear!
