Cheers to making it to the weekend! We had a fun week over here with pumpkin carving, prepping for Halloween and I swear still catching up from Hawaii and being sick.  I’ve conquered my personal email inbox but still have LOTS of work to do with my work email.  How the heck do you stay on top of emails?! And your digital life in general? I consider myself a connoisseur in the world of home organization and purging but when it comes to digital organization, I can officially wave the white flag and admit that I need major help.  Mostly I’m overwhelmed by the process because I’ll admit that I don’t fully understand how everything works.  The Cloud…say what? I have Dropbox but am pretty sure I don’t take advantage of it…do I need both? And with the blog and a toddler, I’m up to my ears in photos and videos on all of my devices…sigh.  Maybe, JUST MAYBE I’ll tackle this sometime soon.  Sounds like a good New Years resolution, right? At which point I will share my wealth of knowledge because everyone I tap for info on this topic seems just as overwhelmed as I am.  If this is your area of expertise, please, chime in and share your secrets with the digitally behind people like myself.  We need all the help we can get.

So how about this dress?  Talk about a combo of two of my favorite things as of late:  lace up details and comfy shift dresses.  Done and done.  I scored this gem at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale in July for a STEAL.  It sold out but don’t you worry because I’ve found several similar ones for you to shop!  Now that the temps are cooling off (I hope), it’s the perfect time to break out those deep burgundy and bordeux colors. Even if it’s just with a lipstick (my FAVORITE is here), this color just adds a richness that will completely elevate your look.

This is the type of dress that can be worn a ton of different ways: add a blanket scarf, add a long cardigan (my favorite here), a moto jacket OR try my new favorite way to change up your entire look- add a cozy sweater over your dress (like this one) and it looks like a totally new skirt and top outfit.  I hope you guys have a great weekend- stay tuned for LOTS of Holiday content coming soon to the blog because in my book, November 1st is free game for all things Holiday cheer.  As always, thank you so much for following along! xo
