Happy Friday, friends! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here and things are moving fast. In other words, if you have something that you’ve been hemming and hawing about, please just buy it because I promise, it will sell out. I’ve gotten all of your messages about the items I’ve posted that have sold out and I will keep looking and be sure to notify you right away if I see things getting restocked. In the meantime, there are always certain items that I stock up on during the #Nsale. I’m getting basics like long sleeved cotton shirts, candles for hostess gifts and I always buy a new pair of athletic shoes because hello…40% off! This is also a great time for me to replace some things I love that have gotten a little worn out (running socks and underwear). I’m a die hard fan of Laura Mercier so I got this lip duo and eye kit. The last time I got new eye shadow was another Laura Mercier palette for Christmas that my Mom got me three years ago. For some reason I was a little grossed out by that since I think you’re supposed to replace eye shadow annually. Oops. Either way, how gorge are these colors? Let’s talk make up brushes. Bobbi Brown brushes are the best and I can truly testify that they are worth the investment. No joke, I purchased a set when I interned at Neiman Marcus while I was in college and I STILL use them today. That was almost 17 years ago. This little kit is a great option to get you started!
