Did you guys have a nice weekend? We enjoyed pool days with Coco, margaritas with friends and a date night! We’re getting ready to my hometown in Michigan for the fourth of July so I decided to try an airbrush tan in order to get some color for our days at the pool and on the lake. I had been dying to try out Blush Organic Sunless Tanning in La Jolla and absolutely loved my experience. If you’re in the San Diego area, it’s a must. PS- Their product is vegan, hypoallergenic, alcohol free, oil free and fragrance free. #signmeup
I’m no stranger to spray tans. In fact, I always get one before a vacation. I tried the booth spray tans and it was claustrophobia city…not to mention my anxiety of constantly breathing in the fumes of the spray tan in a tiny chamber. It’s just not good when I’m standing there getting sprayed, thinking of what the possible long term effects of breathing in that could be. I know these are not normal thoughts…however, they are for me so an organic airbrush tan in a large room, not a tiny chamber sounded right up my alley. I went for the darkest color and was extremely excited when I was given the option of choosing a formula that would allow me to shower in 2-4 hours. If you’re a sunless tanner you KNOW this is unheard of and if you’re a good girlfriend of mine, you know I shower every night before I go to bed. I cannot bear the thought of sleeping in tanning sludge. It works for some people to get their spray tan at night and sleep in it while it develops but not this girl. What you need to know is that I’m thrilled with the results and how natural it looks. This will now be a regular part of my safe sun Summer beauty routine! If you’re in the area, call and make an appointment and use the code karalovescoco20 to get 20% off of your tan! Not in the area? My two favorite self tanning products are this body brush and this self tanner.
There is nothing like a faux glow to show off a LWD (little white dress). I found this one over the weekend and wore it Sunday for date night but know it will be in rotation for the rest of the Summer! The LWD is the one of those must have items this Summer. It’s like anything with pom poms right now- you just need one. This one checked all of the boxes for me because it’s off the shoulder, lace and under $50. So basically it’s a huge win because you’re getting something classic (white lace dress), that’s on trend (off the shoulder) for a great price point. It would be perfect for the July 4th Holiday as well! Have a wonderful week and as always, thank you so much for following along! xo
