The Latest From Kara Loves Coco

Happy Friday!  I know, it’s been a while.  And I feel like such a slacker when I don’t blog consistently (If you’ve followed along for a while you know I’m a regular M/F blogger)…however life has gotten in the way lately.

Sometimes in life we have to shift our priorities and recently I’ve made the conscious choice to put my family and myself ahead of Kara Loves Coco.  It kind of killed me though!  I had guilt not blogging…as if women need one more thing to feel guilty about, right?  But I really did because I felt like I was letting myself and you down by taking a week off or not posting on Instagram regularly. Isn’t that nuts? I worked in corporate America in a competitive pharmaceutical position for almost ten years.  I was under so much pressure at one point that I was getting chronic migraines and getting injections for them every three months.  Now that’s stress…so why am I so freaked out about missing a blog post here and there?  It’s because I care and because for once in my life I truly love what I’m doing so I want to give it my all!

Lucky for me, my mojo was recently ignited at the Create and Cultivate conference in L.A.  There is nothing quite like spending a day with the most fabulous and brilliant women in your field.  All I have to say is that there are a ton of females in the digital world doing amazing things.  To say that I left inspired is a huge understatement.  The point of the conference was to learn how to better my craft in terms of creating digital content that connects with you on multiple levels.  I’d love to hear from you- what would you like to see more of with Kara Loves Coco?  Please email me or comment with your feedback!  Feel free to be specific on what you love to read about and what you would skim or skip all together. If you had to pick one topic to read more about here, which of the following would it be?

  • Home Decor
  • Mom Life
  • Fashion

Thank you so much for your feedback.  Now let’s get to the clothes.  I wanted to post these two looks since I got a ton of questions on them.  Shop both outfits below the photos and as always, thank you so much for following along! PS- Size up at LEAST one size on the blue romper! xo

I totally relate to the "missing posts guilt". The struggle is real! Love that you are doing what's best for you. Your content is so on point and helpful and I can't wait for what's to come! (I love all three categories, btw) 🙂

I'd love to hear more about how to look more chic while being a mom. I often opt for comfort over fashion but they don't have to be mutually exclusive! Also, I'd love to see information on "if you are going to update your spring wardrobe, here are 3 on trend pieces" or something like that. Love when you do outfit round-ups and make it easy for me to just copy what you did. Keep it up, Kara! I look forward to your posts!
