Transitioning to Spring Part 2

Happy Monday!

Today is the second installment of transitioning your wardrobe to Spring! Just because the temps are a wee bit warmer doesn’t mean you have to retire your boots until November. In fact, I wear my boots and booties all the time still and it’s consistently been in the high 70’s in San Diego. The key is simply to alter how you wear them.

Booties look amazing with shorts (think a denim boyfriend short like this) and dresses and I would even argue that they make your legs look miles long when paired with either of the two. If you’ve been following along for a while, you know my staple is the shift dress (I’m drooling over the Wilt Shifted Tee Dress linked below). If you have knee high boots or over the knee boots, this is your jam. I would probably favor a cognac or camel colored boot or booty if you have them in your repertoire (if only you could see how I initially butchered the spelling of that one). I chose to keep the colors super neutral with this look and added a jean jacket. The jean jacket is a wardrobe essential 3/4 Seasons of the year. It’s always the thing I grab at the last minute when I’m heading out the door and my husband looks at my tank top and says, “you should bring a jacket so you don’t get cold”. Nine times out of ten, I’m really glad I brought it. I linked a bunch of denim jacket options below and my exact bag (Chloe Drew Dupe) is linked in this post here! Have a great week and as always, thank you so much for following along. xo
