Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a great weekend! This past week I attended two really fun events in San Diego. The first event was the Lookbook Live Event at Fashion Valley in San Diego. It showcased trends for the Season with runway shows, commentary from stylists from GQ and Glamour magazine and makeup booths all geared at getting you totally prepped for FALL. It was 90 degrees that day so I opted for this skirt and t-shirt combo with some flat sandals. You’ve been warned…you’re going to be seeing this skirt a LOT this season. The skirt has a fall vibe but I thought mixing it with gladiator sandals and a simple t-shirt would make it heat wave appropriate.
I was thrilled to get invited to the opening of the Polo Ralph Lauren store in San Diego #pinchme. The event was sponsored by Elle magazine so I knew it would be amazing. When we lived in Chicago, the RL store was an icon on Michigan Avenue so I was beyond excited when I found out they were opening a location in our backyard. Maybe it’s the horses, maybe it’s the iconic polo, maybe it’s the leather and plaid and maybe it’s Nacho, (google Nacho Ralph Lauren if you don’t know what I’m talking about NOW. You’re welcome.) but something about everything RL touches just screams America to me and I love it. The store did not disappoint. Cue the male models in Polo t-shirts passing out champagne. There were motorcycles, fringe and plaid and the most gorgeous leather mini skirt I’ve ever laid eyes on. What I love most about Ralph Lauren is that whatever style you’re dressing for on any given day can be accomplished in this one store. There were classic LBD’s for formal cocktail parties, bohemian fringe suede heels for a girls night out (or any occasion in my opinion), sporty polo t-shirts in a rainbow of colors for golfing at the club and the list goes on and on and on! Below are pics of a few of my favorite things! Have a great Monday and as always, thank you so much for following along! xo
Omg the plum fringe bag!!! Obsessing!!!
