Best. Weekend. Ever.
I was told by my girlfriend to be ready at 3:45 and to wear a cute outfit that was cool enough to be outdoors. The AGONY of trying to decide on an outfit when you have NO CLUE where you’re going or what the heck you’re doing was almost too much to bear! Although I notoriously hate surprises, I was internally bursting with excitement about the mystery and secrecy of the evening. My girlfriend Tiffany picked me up and we drove to one of the most fabulous and scenic resorts in town. When we got to the table my two other girlfriends were there to surprise me for a Birthday dinner. I was so touched by their thoughtfulness and stealth ability to pull this off!
Let’s rewind to last week on my Birthday, shall we? You would have found me stressing in the Pediatricians office over the fact that my little Coco had a 102 degree fever with a rash all over. Needless to say, it wasn’t the best day or week so this was EXACTLY what I needed. We dined outdoors, drank wine and caught up on all things #girltalk. What could be better? We debated crashing the Wedding that was going on but decided that my ripped denim would give us (or at least me) away #partyfail.
I don’t get out
ever much and I can be a total flake when it comes to plans. Sorry friends! I’m such a homebody! Saturday night was absolutely perfect however and it reminded me that I need to take the time to get out with the gals more often.
With all of the mystery, I decided on neutrals- ripped denim boyfriends and a white tank and added a very bright pop of pink with this light weight… jacket? blazer? windbreaker?…I don’t even know what to call it because it was as light as air and perfect for a warm Summer evening outdoors. When in doubt, I always add these rockstud heels! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and as always, thank you so much for following along!
