Favorite Skinny Jeans and Going Casual

Happy Friday!

I hope you all had a great week! I had several business meetings to attend during the week and for the first time I got to enjoy the fact that I now work in a creative field where I can dress pretty casual for lunch meetings! I was in pharmaceutical sales for almost ten years in two very different markets, Chicago and California. In Chicago it was all suits, all day which got pretty monotonous after a while. When we moved to Southern California I nearly lost it with excitement when I saw what women in my industry were wearing. I would call it dressy business casual and I was thrilled to break out of the stuffy suit! Many of my customers were often in jeans and Hawaiian shirts so the overall feel was much more relaxed than it was in the Midwest.

If denim is acceptable in your industry (lucky you), than these jeans would be perfect! This is now my THIRD pair of this jean (I have white, black and these) so clearly I’m obsessed and had to share them with you (bonus- they’re under $70)! I paired them with this pink silk top and a neutral sandal.

If you’re in the market for an investment bag I have to suggest this one. I have used it for the following: work, drinks with girls, an overnight bag, my carry-on, a beach bag, and most recently, a diaper bag. You really can’t go wrong with a big, classic tote bag. I also linked THIS BAG which is an excellent price point and reversible! I think a simple tote (especially in a yummy cognac color) will be huge this Fall and two of the clients I style have already purchased this exact $48 one. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and as always, thank you so much for following along!
