Coco turns 1

Well hello again! I know, I know…its been a while. I have lots of excuses- my computer had issues, then my internet had issues, I had family in town…either way, I’m thrilled to be back blogging after a little hiatus! While on my hiatus, our little girl Coco, turned ONE. They say time flies and it really does. The last 12 months have been the most challenging yet rewarding times of my entire life. NOTHING compares to the first year of motherhood and I couldn’t be prouder of my husband and I for surviving year one! I’ve never been happier than I am right now and I feel so grateful everyday for that. I wanted to share some of the details of Coco’s first Birthday with you! We did a Garden Tea Party theme and kept it very small with just family and close friends. I created the decorations myself and loved the way it turned out. Thank God for Pinterest! Coco wore the cutest little dress and I broke out the most fabulous shoes that I scored at Nordstrom Rack a few months back. In true 1st Birthday fashion, I bought a smash cake hoping for an epic picture of cake all over her face but Coco was much too proper to smash a cake. She simply took a tiny dollop of frosting off of it and then proceeded to be annoyed that there was frosting on her hands- she hates getting messy! I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. As always, thank you so much for following along! xoxo
